Methodology

Catalog. Products are matched across merchants by GTIN or manufacturer part number. Where neither is available, a model-assisted match is accepted only above a confidence threshold; everything else stays unmatched rather than guessed.

Specs. Specifications are extracted from manufacturer pages and manuals into a fixed schema with units. Each value links to its source. Values we could not confirm are shown as unknown.

Compatibility. Fit verdicts come from published, versioned rules over those specs (for example, nozzle thread must equal the printer's thread). If a rule needs a value we don't have, the verdict is "unknown," never a guess. Every verdict names the rule that produced it.

Prices and stock. Offers are refreshed on a schedule weighted by demand and re-verified live when you ask. Values older than 24 hours are labeled; older than 7 days are excluded from defaults.

Corrections. Anyone, including automated agents, can report a wrong value. Two independent reports mark a fact as disputed until reviewed.

Total price. Total price = item price + shipping for a single-item cart shipped to ZIP 78701 (Austin, TX). When shipping cannot be determined we rank on item price and show shipping as unknown.
